He has a genius level intellect, and can learn anything on the first try.In the first chapter of Park Escape our two protagonist investigators have gone through the Amusement Park and reached a Circus tent that had further clues as to what happened to the kidnapped children but one of the said investigators Liang Bowen entered alone into the second part of the circus tent and was knocked out by an unknown figure.
Nathan Holm: Another biology grad student, and David's best friend. Appointed second in command, but he rarely seems to actually do anything. David Sawicki: A grad student at the biology lab. Jupiter Celedon: Head student at the biology lab. He's an amateur photographer, and he's never seen without his camera. Aaron Vanich: One of the grad students at the University of Edgewater, and the host student for Kangai. Although he comes from a rich family, he tries not to make a big deal about it. Friendly, enthusiastic, and happy to answer any questions. Shawn Tasse: Student liaison at the University of Edgewater. She's seen Kangai solve cases in the past, and she's eager to help him out again. Chance Jackson: An unflaggingly cheerful university student. She absorbs the emotions of everyone around her.

Li Mei: The final member of the investigation agency. Naoki Mizutani: Aki's younger twin brother, and the voice of reason in most of their escapades. 
She can speak directly into anyone's mind. Brash and impulsive with a very "flexible" definition of following the rules.
Aki Mizutani: The leader of a government-controlled investigation agency made up of kids with psychic abilities. He seems to be pretty evasive when talking about history. 
He has a sarcastic streak and a quick tongue.
Mikolaj Gurski: A police detective in the city of Edgewater, and Kangai's "handler." It's his job to keep Kangai and the others out of trouble. He doesn't like to give out much information about himself, but it seems that he's been traveling from one city to the next for several years. He seems to have unnaturally bad luck, constantly finding dead bodies. Kangai: A teenager with the ability to relive the death of any corpse he touches. 
The group goes undercover at a local university to investigate Kangai's history, but the sudden death of a professor sets them on a new course racing an old enemy for valuable information. With a bit of less than gentle prodding, he joins a group of psychic teenagers who solve mysteries under the watchful eye of the government.
